As Bei Yue lies motionless, akin to death, the King anticipates updates from him. The Queen arrives and conveys that news is unattainable since Bei Yue’s residence is under stringent protection. Ziqing’s assault has compromised Bei Yue’s heart meridian, inflicting grave damage to his internal arts. Without these arts, one cannot shield their heart meridian, leading to death within two months.
It appears that the only way to rescue Bei Yue is to bring him to his master. Therefore, Dr. Gu and Shadow make preparations and set out for the master’s location with Bei Yue. Simultaneously, Ziqing will ensure that no one realizes Bei Yue is absent from the city.
The King, accompanied by his entourage, arrives to visit Bei Yue’s mansion, led by Bei Chen. Through a clever ruse, they prevent the King from seeing Bei Yue. Later that night, two assassins infiltrate the mansion. Ziqing commands everyone to hold their positions, regardless of the situation. Thus, if the assassins flee, no one is to pursue them.
Bei Chen is implicated in the assassination. Lige advises waiting since there are no other options. Bei Chen accuses Lige of wanting Bei Yue dead. Lige threatens Bei Chen, warning that if such accusations are made again, there will be consequences.
Islander hunter attempts to infiltrate the mansion but narrowly escapes. Xin’er’s brother suggests that Ziqing seek out Prince An to halt the royals’ persistent requests to see Bei Yue. Bei Yue is on Master Lu’s island. The Lu Manor is rife with inheritance disputes. In a fit of rage, Master Lu banishes his children. Dr. Gu escorts Bei Yue to the mansion. The son-in-law discovers that a severely injured individual has arrived at the manor.
Master Lu has exhausted 70% of his inner strength, yet Bei Yue’s heart meridian is mended, and he is expected to recover swiftly. However, the son-in-law, a conniving and ineffectual man, learns of this through Master Lu’s daughter.
Ziqing receives news that Bei Yue has been saved. Although Prince An is the King’s brother, he meets with no one. When Ziqing arrives at Prince An’s residence, he is told that no one by that name resides there. Determined, Ziqing decides to camp on the premises and instructs Ten to retrieve their belongings from the carriage. However, Ten is apprehended by islander hunter; despite his skillful maneuvers, Ziqing ultimately subdues him.
